Social Responsibility

As a part of ENGIE North America, ENGIE Services U.S. aligns our Corporate Social Responsibility focus areas with the larger enterprise. Along with providing safe, reliable energy, and energy services across the United States, operating divisions of ENGIE strive to become an integral part of the communities in which we operate. Our goal is to be the best neighbor, supplier, employer, and contributor we can.

Our Role in the Community

In North America, through our corporate giving, employee charitable matching gift program, and volunteerism, we invest in a diverse roster of organizations, with a special focus on community programs in three key areas:

  • Children’s Health & Education
  • Environmental Awareness & Sustainability
  • Energy Assistance
Over the years, we have worked with local educators to provide scholarships, improve facilities and fund classroom courses using arts and culture to stimulate new perspectives on math and science as well as students’ community values. We’ve dug in to enhance nature conservancies and regional waterways and sponsored organized nature expeditions to engage and serve youth. We continually seek opportunities to support our customers outside of the realm of energy, linking with impactful, local nonprofits and social organizations that know the needs of their unique communities the best.

Our Respect for People and the Planet

The steps we take to ensure the safety and security of our operating facilities and offices are of paramount importance. Equally important is managing our operations in the most environmentally sound manner possible. In addition to a substantial fleet of wind, solar, biomass and biogas power generation facilities, we also offer products and services for customers to support their renewable energy production goals and reduce their power consumption and energy cost.
